Information concerning our actions relating to the coronavirus

Announcement | Tuesday 22nd September, 12:30

The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way we encounter people and have experiences. We are proud of the fact that the unique northern nature that surrounds our locations offers a clean, safe and incomparable environment for our guests to enjoy. In addition to these pure nature experiences, we also want to guarantee the safety of our guests and employees with various measures.

Hand sanitiser is easily accessible for both customers and employees. Hand sanitiser stations are available in key locations in all the public areas.

We keep a safe distance (1–2 metres) from customers and employees and make sure to keep it. We ensure this also by instructing customers with various reminder signs and during service situations.

When safety distance is not possible to keep, all of our employees are using PPE masks. During these situations, f.e. during transfers and safari clothing situations, we also highly recommend our customers to use PPE masks.

Now majority of our excursions are bookable also privately. Only you, your family and our guide.

We have identified possible risks and planned the most effective ways to minimise them. We disinfect the equipment and clothing after every use.

We have enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of all the premises we use, also in our private restaurants. In top of that, we only serve one group at the time and have increased the space between restaurant seating.

We have made it easy for you to book and the availability is online

If something would happen and you would have to cancel, with us you can cancel even 24 hours before excursion, and pay only the office fee 25€ per booking.

We want to secure the health of all our guests and employees, so please do not visit our excursions if you have coronavirus-related symptoms. Our employees are also not allowed to come to work if they show any symptoms. Further information on coronavirus symptoms is available here!

Announcement | Friday 13th March 2020, 20.00

WHO has declared the coronavirus a pandemic, with an elevated risk of contagion in Europe and elsewhere in the world. Here at Lapland Safaris, we are closely monitoring the instructions issued by the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and other authorities, and we will adapt our operations correspondingly. We are updating current information on the situation on our website at

We have enhanced our hygiene-related procedures in particular at all of our destinations to minimise the spread of all kinds of viruses.

·       Cleaning of common rooms has been improved, and we are cleaning potential contagious surfaces several times a day.

·       Hand sanitizer is available to all guests as widely as possible.

·       We are ensuring that the most recent coronavirus-related instructions issued by THL are clearly visible and available in different languages.

·       Our staff has been instructed on how to act in this exceptional situation and to inform our guests about how the situation develops.

Lapland Safaris operations will continue as normal, only with these enhanced measures. We will keep our guests informed and notify everyone of potential changes in the situation without delay.

With kind regards / With Lappish regards
