SANTA CLAUS SAFARI (6.1.-12.4.2020)

Safari style:

An arctic day of snowmobiling and reindeer sleigh riding completed with meeting Santa

Our most popular safari combines nature, culture and the spirit of Christmas. The day starts with a snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you will hear more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture. You can take a reindeer ride and attend a special ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. In the afternoon the trip continues by car to Santa Claus Village with time to do shopping in Santa Claus Village. You will also have an opportunity to send postcards from Santa Claus main post office. During the day you get to meet Santa Claus himself and enjoy a delicious lunch in a cozy restaurant. And you will get a Diploma for crossing the Arctic Circle!

What is included: thermal outfit, guidance in English, snowmobiling 2person/snowmobile, fuel, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability €980), reindeer farm visit and ride, Arctic Circle crossing ceremony, Diploma, 3-course lunch (salad, salmon soup, dessert), visit to Santa Claus Village and main Post office, program transfer

Good to know:
- Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement €15 per driver per safari.
- Solo driving possibility. Supplement for solo driving 45 € / person.

- Children under 2 years are not recommended to take part on snowmobile safaris. Lapland Safaris AC Ltd reserves the right to deny the participation of small children due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions.
- Child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price.
- Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland.
- Take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the Police may check the validity of the license during the safari.
- Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.

This excursion has to be booked at the latest 19h before the starting time.

Self liability waiver

Normal self liability on the snowmobile safari is 980,00 eur per accident. By paying 15,00 eur per driver per safari you can reduce your maximum self liability to 150,00 eur!
