Receive the proper clothing – The changing room

Our guides will provide everyone with overalls, socks, mittens, balaclava, helmet, boots. Check what you will wear and don’t be afraid of the cold weather.

Safety issues and instructions for handling the snowmobile

Before we start driving, we give safety instructions and a briefing to show everybody how to handle the snowmobiles. Safety is very important to us and we take it very seriously.

Departure

Once everybody knows how to drive the snowmobile, we will depart for our excursion: the video will show you how we drive across frozen rivers and lakes, and through snowy forests, stopping every now and then to enjoy the scenery or to hear some stories from the guides.

The fun begins

Fun excursion is ready to begin! departure
After the safari, we return to the safari office to return the equipment. If you have more activities with us on next day, you might keep the equipment with you. Otherwise, you will leave the equipment in our office, and take home with you a lot of good memories from Lapland!

You will see how the whole process goes from start to finish . They will get all the necessary equipment: Our guides will provide everyone with overalls, socks, mittens, balaclava, helmet, boots). So, check out what you will wear and don’t be afraid of cold weather

Then we walk together to the snowmobiles and, before we start driving, we give the safety instructions and a briefing to show everybody how to handle the snowmobiles. Safety is very important to us and we take it very seriously. We will teach how to sit on the snowmobile (both for the passenger and driver), teach how to accelerate and break, how to drive on the tracks and the hand signs that we use to communicate.

Once everybody knows how to drive the snowmobile, we will depart for our excursion: the video will show you how we drive across frozen rivers and lakes, and through snowy forests, stopping every now and then to enjoy the scenery or to hear some stories from the guides.

By snowmobile we reach husky and reindeer farms, we go  ice-fishing, and enjoy the pure nature of Lapland. There are many different ways to enjoy the North of Finland, with the family, a group of friends or on an incentive trip.

After the safari, we return to the safari office to leave our equipment. If you have more activities with us on next day, you might keep the equipment with you. Otherwise, you will leave the equipment in our office, and take home with you lot of good memories from Lapland!
