In this snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm you’ll get to learn about the fascinating world of Lappish culture and reindeer husbandry. Everyone who passes the reindeer-driving test will be issued an International Reindeer Driving License! You will also have the possibility of participating in a special Lappish ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. Before returning back to town, relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea.
It’s good to notice that this excursion is a combination of both 4-stroke and electric snowmobiles according to the customers’ purchase decision (Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm / Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm By Electric Snowmobile).
Guide is always riding a 4-stroke snowmobile and pulling the sled for children. If you wish to have an excursion that only includes electric snowmobiles please book Crossing the Arctic Circle by Electric Snowmobile or Excursion to Aurora Borealis Camp by Electric Snowmobile.

Child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a 4-stroke snowmobile ridden by the guide. This is purely for a reason that it’s not possible to pull a sled by electric snowmobile. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price.Lapland Safaris AC Ltd reserves the right to deny the participation of small children due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions).
This safari is included in the Santa Claus safari.

Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.
Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement € 20 per safari driver.
Solo riding possibility. Supplement for solo riding € 50 / person.
Please notice that the meeting/pick-up times for the excursion vary depending on the meeting/pick-up point you have chosen, so we kindly ask you to check carefully the correct time from your ticket attached to the confirmation e-mail.
What do I need to bring?
Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.
Cancellation policy
- 8 days or more before the excursion departure: cancellation fee 25,00 eur
- 7 days or less before the excursion departure or no show: 100% of the value of the Order Confirmation
