Come and experience an exotic arctic evening by driving through snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes by snowmobile. With a little luck, the sky is clear, and the moon, stars, and even the Northern Lights may show you the way! Enjoy a delicious snack of sausages and warm drinks around an open fire before returning to the Safari Club.

Suitability: Children over 2 years
Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.
Child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price. Note that children under 2 years are not suitable to take part on snowmobile safaris. Lapland Safaris West Ltd reserves the right to deny the participation of small children due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions).
The Aurora Borealis, Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon and it can be predicted but not guaranteed.
This safari is co2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission.
Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement € 20 per safari driver.
Solo riding possibility. Supplement for solo riding € 50 / person.
This programme includes a snack, so please advise on any special diets or food allergies in advance
Please notice that the meeting/pick-up times for the excursion vary depending on the meeting/pick-up point you have chosen, so we kindly ask you to check carefully the correct time from your ticket attached to the confirmation e-mail.
What do I need to bring?
Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.
Cancellation policy
- 8 days or more before the excursion departure: cancellation fee 25,00 eur
- 7 days or less before the excursion departure or no show: 100% of the value of the Order Confirmation
