Enjoy the fun sledge ride with Huskies in the  wilderness! Learn the secrets of Husky mushing and  ride the sledge of 6 huskies. Visit a small private husky farm. Hear storytelling about the adorable Husky dogs,  while enjoying steaming berry juice in a cozy hut.Pyhä Husky Farm is a privately owned farm in the wilderness. The one hour ride is approximately 7-10km in length.

When you wish to arrive on your own, make sure to arrive to the farm on time – if you arrive early, wait us at the Husky Farm parking lot for the starting time. Don't be late and please do not enter the farm without a guide. Please be ready all winter clothes on in tour starting time!

PLEASE NOTICE IN ALL SAFARIS!

One adult needs to drive always the sledge. We always drive sledges full. In one sledge can be two adults and some children.

There is of course a possibility to switch mushers at the halfway point if there is two adults in one sledge! Children under 18 year old can´t drive the sledge, but sometimes if conditions are correct our safari guides can make exception.

Children under 6 year old can´t participate safaris. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, children under 6 years-old cannot take part in the safari. We have also notice that quite often children from 8 years and under start to cry for the cold feeling and they don´t understand how to handle to cold feeling. Please thing couple times would the short family husky safari be better for your child.

We can´t guarantee that hole family is in the same sledge! Smaller child can sit on adult's lap, but if children are too big then we may divide family`s one adult in the other sledge, with another single customers. We will decide this on the spot how the families are divided. 

Transportation to the farm is not included in the experience. If you wish to be add transportation, please add it during reservation. Your pickup time will be informed after making the booking. Pickups from Pyhä start about 30 minutes before the experience. Pickups from Luosto start 45 minutes before the experience.

Winter clothing is not included in this experience. If you need warm clothes and shoes, make sure to add it separately during reservation process.

We don´t have winter clothes at  the Farm! The warm winter clothing and shoes will be given before heading to the farm. When arriving with your own car, make sure to have proper winter clothes or organize them through us in advance – Clothing needs to be picked up from Kairankutsu Office in Pyhätunturi and pick up time organised separately via email at kairankutsu@gmail.com No winter clothing will be provided at the farm.
