Experience a wintertime safari with a team of huskies! When arriving at the farm, the enthusiastic barking of friendly arctic dogs will welcome you. Before departing on your journey, you'll be given instructions on how to control the sleds, which you get to ride in pairs. If you want, you may swap places at the halfway point! The head musher will talk about the life and training of these Arctic animals, and you'll have a chance to take some great photos. Warm drink will be served by an open fire.
Programme transfers, thermal outfit, guidance in English, husky farm visit, husky ride approximately 15km with 2 adults per sledge, information about huskies, hot beverage.
Suitability:
Children over 12 years.
Husky excursions can be physically demanding and participants may be exposed to different kinds of physical strain. Therefore, in order to avoid any complications and to guarantee the safety of all participants, husky programmes are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations of uneven tracks.
Total duration 3,5 hours. Husky safari approximately 1,5 h.
When sharing the husky sleigh on the safari one person is standing behind a sleigh as a controller and one is sitting on a sleigh as a passenger.
