Experience the Arctic night by driving through the snow-covered forest and on the frozen river to the Aurora Borealis camp. At the resort, you will find a theatre inside a snow igloo, where a film about the myths and facts of this natural phenomenon is presented. You'll also have time to roam around the resort, take a brisk sleigh ride, or can just lay back by an open fire admiring the northern sky. With a little luck, the sky is clear and the Northern Lights may show up. And don’t forget to fry and enjoy the traditional reindeer sausages and marshmallows prepared by the open fire before your return back to the city.

Suitability:
Children over 140 cm. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price.
Children can be younger than 15 years, but they need to be over 140 cm in height and pay the adult price to be allowed to participate in this safari. Please inform us the age of the child when making a reservation for this safari.
Snowmobiling can be physically demanding and participants may be exposed to different kinds of physical strain or vibration due to uneven tracks. Therefore, in order to avoid any complications and to guarantee the safety of all participants, snowmobile programmes are not suitable for pregnant women.

Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.
Aurora Borealis, Northern Lights are natural phenomena caused by solar wind and they cannot be guaranteed or predicted.
Electric snowmobiles are emission-free during operation.
Our snowmobile safaris depart and return from the city center of Rovaniemi.
Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement €20 per safari driver.
Solo riding possibility. Supplement €50 / person.
This program includes a snack, so please advise on any special diets or food allergies in advance.
Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.
Please notice that the meeting/pick-up times for the excursion vary depending on the meeting/pick-up point you have chosen, so we kindly ask you to check carefully the correct time from your ticket attached to the confirmation e-mail.
