Time for cross-country skiing, beloved pastime activity among Finns! Fasten your skis, lean on the poles, and glide along the tracks surrounded by pure blankets of snow. If you happen to be a first-timer on skis, do not worry: there will be an introduction to the basic techniques of skiing to get you going! The price includes the equipment rental until 17:00 so you can go skiing on your own time and pace afterwards.
Thermal outfit, guidance in English, juice break, equipment, cross-country ski rental until 17:00.
Suitability:
This adventure requires basic physical fitness and is suitable for children of 12 years or older.
Skiing can be physically demanding and participants may be exposed to different kinds of physical strain. Therefore, in order to avoid any complications and to guarantee the safety of all participants, we do not recommend snowshoe, skiing and reindeer programmes to pregnant women.
There are over 200 km of cross-country skiing tracks in Saariselkä area.
Cross-country skis can also be rented from us.
Please notice that the meeting/pick-up times for the excursion vary depending on the meeting/pick-up point you have chosen, so we kindly ask you to check carefully the correct time from your ticket attached to the confirmation e-mail.
